If you noticed the product announcement in the August Amiga World for a new Manx development system, don't go call them yet. I did it for you :-) Apparently Amiga World got a little over anxious and put that in a "little" early. The nice lady on the Manx phone informed me that their database of registered users is up-to-date and that they hope to ship upgrade information for an ANSI version of Aztec C within the next eight weeks. This is not the same version mentioned in the product announcement! That will be appearing later and basically it appears to just be a more integrated compiler/editor environment like those that have become so popular in the PC world. Frankly, I'm chomping at the bit for an ANSI'ized version of Manx (and hopefully some better documentation). That alone would keep me satisfied for some time to come. John Munsch
