Where I work, we have 38 IBM PC/AT's running aproximately 8 hours a day for PC's, 10 monitors are dead. After the first 3.5 years, we exchanged the Seagates with Maxtor drives, and have had no problems with the Maxtor drives, with the exception of one bad one out of the box. We also have three Seagate ST-4096 drives, two of which died in the first 4 years of operation.
