At the July FAUG meeting in Silicon Valley, Susan Lazear showed off the
"Bit Knitter". It is a set of hardware and software that allows the Amiga
to interface to an automatic knitting machine. A quote from the flyer:
Introducing the Bit Knitter (tm) a computer design interface.
. using a paint program, freely create and modify color designs
. use free hand drawings, gridded designs, and digitized images
as design sources/techniques
. combine or overlay motifs to knit full width of bd
. manipulate your design by flipping, rotting, changing size, etc.

. see your knit patterns in a variety of garment bodies
