Using software to switch from NTSC frequencies to PAL frequencies is
such a great idea, maybe Commodore will think about supporting that
feature in the Enhanced Chip Set.  Maybe they've already done that.

Question for discussion:
What would you personally like to see added to Agnus/Denise?

   How about a color register cache in Denise so the colors for each line
can be loaded up during vertical retrace.

I have heard that the new chip set will have new options for genlocks.
We will be able to tell the genlock to be transparent based on a separate
bit plane (instead of when color 0 is being output by the Amiga).

I'd like to know if this means it will handle 7 bit planes; 6 for HAM or
EHB and the 7th for genlock.
