I am looking for source code to an optical design ray tracer, I know there are commercial ones available for the MS-Dos enviornment and am hoping someone knows of the location of some PD source in C. I am looking for either a UNIX or MS-Dos piece for ease of portability to the Amiga. For those not familiar with this type of Ray Tracer it is for the design of optics in cameras, binoculars and telescopes. I need to be able to input different types of glass optical coatings, and silvering techniques. The program then plots the RGB components of the appropriate part of the spectrum to determine the optimum design. Please email all replys and if possible pass this request on to astrnomy groups.
