Hello, net.
I am getting consistent gurus with the NEC_Pinwriter driver in
density 7 with integer scaling on graphic output. Could some kind
soul out there give that a try and let me know if you get similar
results. This has happened with every program I've tried, but I
would still like a second opinion. With any lower density setting
or with fractional scaling the problem doesn't show up.

Neither could anyone else from the Software Brewery (yes, the NEC printers are quite popular over here). We tried this on A2620 equipped systems, A2000, A1000, A500, to no avail. (Now what? Am I getting depressed for not getting Gurus? :-) I printed at various degrees of scaling, with sometimes very tiny results (heh, hand me that lens, will ya?) but no Gurus. While I have many gripes with the current implementation of the printer.device and the NEC driver, this isn't one of 'em. To make sure we talk about the same sucker, heres a little insight into my ever growing HD park: Directory "devs:printers" on Thursday 13-Jul-89 .. Nec_Pinwriter 6732 ----rw-d 06-Aug-88 17:39:31 .. Hope you find the reason for that strange behaviour, wherever it may be.
