Since the upgrade offer for MiAmiga File users to purchase Pen Pal expires on the First of August I would like to know what the opinions on the net are of Pen Pal. Is it buggy, does it do as advertized? Any comments welcome. Thanks in advance Monty Saine

It is not 100% without small problems, but it does seem stable and is worth getting. Your name appears in the front of the manual as one of the programmers (or was that a close relative? ;-). We got our Pen Pals in the other day - the manual seems well endowed :-), and we managed to get some nice output out of our Star color printer. I did manage to crash it in less than 5 minutes, though it was the kind of thing that could be avoided. We haven't used it extensively yet, so I can't speak from a lot of experience. If there's anything specific you'd like to ask, give it a go and I'll see if I can help. Note that the product is geared only towards using the Preferences supported printer drivers, so PostScript is (currently) out of the question. -Eric -- ARPA: LAVITSKY@RUTGERS.EDU UUCP: ...rutgers!tstream!eric eric@topaz.rutgers.edu
