[comp.sys.amiga] Amigas in Japan

protcoop@leibniz.uucp (07/13/89)

I'm real sorry to bring this up again, but I didn't get much response
last time. Thanks, buy the way, to those that did respond. I phoned
Commodore Canada and they seem to be about as useless as t*ts on a
bull. You see, my brother is moving to Japan and he wants to (has to
) use his Amiga while he is there. If he can't use a North American
A500 in Japan, does anyone know if you can buy Amigas in Japan, and
how much they cost? Is this a PAL or NTSC machine? And finally, once
again, will the NA Amiga work over there? Please help us as he is
moving soon and does not want to lug his computer over there to find
out that it does not work. Maybe someone at Commodore U.S. is a little
more competant than here in Canada. They couldn't tell me ANYTHING, not
even if Amigas were sold in Japan!! Thanks in advance everyone.

For information on Amigas in Japan, contact OMNI International Trading,
in Seattle, Washington. They are the leading exporters of Amiga equipment
to Japan, if I understand correctly. Their number is (206)547-6664.
(They're also a damn good Amiga retailer, for you Seattleites out there.)
