[comp.sys.amiga] Plplot on Aztec C

stevel@tybalt.caltech.edu (Steve Ludtke) (07/16/89)

Hello. When Plplot first came out I was really interested in converting it
to run under Aztec C. I worked on it a while and got everything except
3d plots and contour plots to work. With a nasty litle workaround I could
get 3d plots to work as well, but I had no luck with contour plots. At that
point I got a message from someone who claimed to have it all working
completely with a few changes he couldn't remember offhand. He said he'd post
the modified sources to comp.sources.amiga within the next week or so. Well,
this was several months ago, and he doesn't seem to respond to mail, so I'll
ask this in general. Has anyone successfully ported plplot to aztec. If so,
could you either post the mod. sources to the net or describe what you did ?
Thanks

That person is me, and it was abot two months ago (I was on vacation
for about three weeks). The reason for the delay is that I also added
a PostScript driver, and rewrote most of the Tektronix driver so that
the output is about four times higher resolution. I also have a
makefile that will compile using either Manx or Lattice. I promise
not to add anymore to it until I send it to Bob Page THIS WEEK. I
don't know how long it will take after that to get posted.
