[comp.sys.amiga] Bridgeboards as slave processors

mplevine@spmdevy.sgi.com (Marshall P. Levine) (07/19/89)

When I purchased my 2088, I was told that it could be used as a slave
processor for the Amiga. Amigaworld mentioned the possibility of having the
8088 do number-crunching, sorting, and other stuff for the Amiga while amy
took care of more important things. Well, it's time to prove this. In all
of the time that I have had my B2000/2088, I have seen exactly 0 programs that
take advantage of the 8088 from the Amiga side. Does anyone know if it is
possible? If so, how? Where can I get the appropriate libraries and C
headers? Thanks in advance.
