I have found a distributor that claims to have a monochrome TTL and composite monitor with a paper-white display and long persistence phosphors. I can obtain this monitor from them using my company name (they will not sell to non-dealers). I have ordered a sample for myself and will let the net know how it performs. The monitor's specs are: Composite/TTL input at 15.75khz, 14" flat screen, long persistence white phosphor, tilt/swivel base. 90-day warranty. If the monitor works as billed it would be ideal for us interlace- mode lovers and word processors. Probably could look better than a mac. Since it has a composite input, I imagine that multiple brightness levels are accepted. (16 I would guess, better than a MoniTerm and works with all software, even games.) Again, I will inform the net if this thing works. I can order it from them using my company name and sell it to net users for $149 plus $15 to cover my shipping from them to me and from me to you. Sorry if this sounds like an add, I'm only trying to help out. Please do not send money--I don't know if this thing works yet. Email me and I will put you on a list of people to notify of details.
