For anyone interested, there is now a mail gateway between Compuserve and Usenet. To use it is quite simple... >From Compuserve: In Easyplex, at the 'To' prompt: >internet:<address> Where <address> is of the standard form, ie. to mail to me at home from Compuserve, you would use '>internet:lphillips@lpami.wimsey.bc.ca'. Note that the delimiters '>' and ':' are required. The address also requires a fully qualified domain name. Mail can be sent to virtually everywhere on the network, including BITNET. >From Usenet to Compuserve: You will need to know the person's ID, and you will modify the comma to a period. To send mail to me on Compuserve, you would use: 76703.4322@compuserve.com Enjoy! -larry -- "So what the hell are we going to do with a Sun?" - Darlene Phillips - +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | // Larry Phillips | | \X/ lphillips@lpami.wimsey.bc.ca -or- uunet!van-bc!lpami!lphillips | | COMPUSERVE: 76703,4322 -or- 76703.4322@compuserve.com | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
