[comp.sys.amiga] Sources for salvaged A1000 parts?

hummel@m.cs.uiuc.edu (07/17/89)

Are there any outfits selling salvaged Amiga parts?

With a Mac-compatible floppy plugged in through A-MAX on my A1000, I am
getting an outrageously high error rate on my Amiga drives. I have some
reasons to suspect that a marginal Paula chip is to blame. So I'd like
to get another Paula as cheaply as possbile.

Yeah - I need a new keyboard. I'd rather not have to spend $115 just so
I can type the letter 'b' again (no, I'm using another system right
now).

While you are looking for a new keyboard, I'm looking for a new OR used A1000
Daughterboard! I seem to have pseudo-trashed mine to the point where the
machine won't even turn on correctly!

(the above problem has to do with the pals!)
