If you've been trying to ftp to XANTH.CS.ODU.EDU (or are an nntp feed of Xanth) and have been getting "Network is Unreachable" or "Connection timed out", it was because an upstream Internet link from us (a prestigious institution that should know better) moved their machine room, effectively cutting off all their downstream links from the rest of the world. This happened late Friday, and service resumed only just a little while ago. You might guess that this has raised some hackles around here... :-) Regardless, Xanth is back on the air, so try again... ...tad
