It especially amuses me when there is discussion of some modification or other to an A1000, such as the LUCAS board, or disabling the low pass audio filter, and the warning comes out that it will void the warrantee. Also note that CBM will not give an "exchange credit" for an obviously mutilated or modified PCB if you need to go that far for repairs. Makes it a bit more expensive.
