Have him swap power supplies. The 2052 is well known for its power hunger (I
like the term FASTMEM Toaster), and replacing with an 8 meg board (almost
anyone's 8 meg board) will considerably reduce the draw on the supply. And then
of course it's also well known that the power supply is the last thing any tech
checks (I know, I are one).

Dear network,

One of the local Amiga shop techs called me and asked if I new
anything above the following problem. (Dont ask why they are calling
ME, its a long story ;) I don't know the answer, but I said I
would place it on the Net and tell him what comes back.

Problem as follows:

    System:

	Amiga2000, board revision 4.4
	   A2620 card ('20 CPU card)
	   A2052 card (2meg RAM)
	   Overdrive w/ autoboot (DMA)

Problem: With this setup, the system crashes every now and
	then.

He has tried swapping the 2meg card with an 8meg card
he had laying around and it didn't crash anymore.

He also tried the whole thing (I think it was the whole
thing, it may just have been the overdrive) in a
different 2000 (rev 4.3) and it worked.

Does anyone have some ideas? I will pass the info on to
	him.

					Cheers
