Anyone have an old, broken keyboard for a 1000? If you don't need it anymore, I'd be interested in getting it from you. I'd be willing to pay up to $40 for it. However, if you have such a keyboard, but want to keep it, could I convince you to sell me a few of the key assemblies? My 'b' key broke, and I need the whole thing from the 'b' cover down to the PC board - I really *DON'T* feel like paying $120 for a whole new keyboard... Send me email if you are interested, or have info as to where I could find such things. Thanks! Jon

Do like I did when my "s" key died on my A1000 keyboard died. I simply picked a key that I never use, and that was the "." key on the numeric keypad. I ripped it out, and stuck it into the two holes left from pulling the "s" key out. All the assemblies are the same, except for a few of the non standard shaped keys, and they work perfectly. Heck, come to think of it, I could have picked any key assembly on the numeric keypad, I never use that part anyway!
