My section at work (Engineering Education Research Studies), has started working on a proposal looking into computer programming productivity. Specifically, what traits and/or abilities make a person a good or productive programmer. On our initial survey we included a question about handedness, (i.e. are you left or right handed?). My question for a knowledgeable person on the net is this: I remember seeing some type of survey on the net asking if people were right or left handed, was this all in fun or was it serious?
