[comp.sys.amiga] I want to buy an AMIGA

  I think I'd like to get an amiga but I'm a little short on details
about the system and the state of CBM. All I know is I'm getting tired
of my ST (no support,little market share, ect) actually not the ST system
as much as Atari itself, and I WANT multi-tasking! 
  So.....
  Could one of you kind souls post or e-mail some(any,all) info on such
things as clock speed, graphic resolutions, expansion, software availability
support from commodore  and costs of the 500 and 2000 (w/hard drive), ect, ect..
                           please, any help would be appreciated.
