BUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Oh I'm sorry; no trip to Guadalajara for
you. You'll have to settle for our consolation prize---the blow on the 'ead.

1900 is NOT the first year of the 20th century, it is the last year of
the 19th century. This is because there was no year 0 in our stupid calendar
system, which was designed by religious zealots, not mathematicians.
Obviously, it never occurred to them that by their logic, a person's 1st
birthday should be the day they are born, instead of a year later, which is the
sensible way to look at it. The day a person is born is their 0th birthday.

So:	1901-1988:	365.25 x 88 = 32142 +
	     1989: 365 +
	 Jan-July:	31+28+31+30+31+30+31 = 212 +
	Aug. 1-18: 18 +
						-------
						32737

Oops, we seem to be off by 31 days in addition to the year. Looks like you
went to the Richard Sexton school of calendar arithmetic. :-) That means that
the real 32,768th day of the 20th century will be:

	Tuesday, September 18, 1990.

 :-) :-) :-)
