I am looking for recommendations for good programs, either commercial or freely redistrubtable, that play back IFF ANIM files or other types of animation formats. You can mix and match ANIMS, RIFF, IFF (HAM and any other combo) and RGB files for playback under user control. It is very easy to use and yet very powerful. You have real-time control with the keyboard (you make your own keymap) or mouse. As the package says, "you can quickly cut, shuffle and deal your images out in any order." I saw it at AmiExpo Chicago and was very impressed. It was blindingly fast and easy to use. You can take any Anim file, splice it, dice it, play it backwards, forwards (it was neat to control the anim by mouse movement) or almost anyhting else imaginable. Their ads in magazines don't describe the product very well (unfortunately). Note: I am in NO way connected with Elan Design, just a happy user.
