From what I've seen with the local Commodore User's group most A500's are
are bought with only 512k and one drive.  However, most upgrade to 2 drives
and one meg within 6 to 9 months and that includes broke college students. :-)

It was 7 months between my purchase of my A500 until I had 2 drives and a meg
but I suppose since I'm a netter I don't count. :-)
