A dealer mentioned the new "1084SD" (or 1084SP?) monitor to me, which is supposed to be spiffier than the 1084S. Anyone know about this?

Anyone know about this? The 1084SD is manufactured for Commodore by Daewoo. It looks like the 2002 or 1080 case wise, but it stereo. The 1084SP is made by North American Phillips and looks like the 1902A case wise. They are functionally the same monitor and compatible with all Commodore CPU's Greg -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greg Givler Q-Link: Commodore Telecommunications Coordinator CompuServe: CBM/Support 76703,2047 Commodore Customer Support INTERNET: givler@cbmvax.uucp 215-436-4200 (Support Line) OR :::::: givler@cbmvax.cbm.commodore.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Life is pain, Highness, anyone who says differently is selling something" - The Dread Pirate Roberts -- The Princess Bride ===============================================================================

Anyone know about this? I saw one at a local dealer. Just looks like a stereo 1080 to me. Seriously, I don't know what's inside, but the case and picture look just like the 1080, which I thought was always a better monitor than the 1084's. The only addition seems to be stereo sound, which isn't real noticeable with 14 inches of separation anyway. -Vince
