A couple days ago I turned on my Amiga 1000 (Spirit RAM expansion, 2 floppies, 1080) and it did the usual wait with grey screen but unfortunately instead of the nice little "boobdoobdobedoob" sound it flashed an orange screen for a second, and then a green one, which was not steady but would flicker black every now & then. I turned it off & on, and it did the same thing. Now here's the wierd part... After leaving it on for a little while, then turning it off & on again, it works fine! SO it seems to me that my machine doesn't work correctly unless it is warmed up. (It will work as long as I want once it gets started). Any ideas? -- James A.
