Ok, here is the deal... Since I post the regular monthly list of FTP sites and mail servers for Amiga, I get literally zillions of questions about where to find the latest Fred Fish disks on those sites. And my standard answer is that you can find disks ff158-ff210 on etana.tut.fi, but the rest is only on uihub.cs.uiuc.edu which is down for at least the last three weeks. I posted a question about uihub recently on this newsgroup, and the answers I received via private email weren't too encouraging. Summarizingly, they said that uihub is a neglected machine in uiuc, which in turn is the reason why the volunteer student can use many megabytes on that machine to store the Amiga stuff, and if it goes down, someone has to boot it up, but the volunteer person doesn't have time to do that because he is a student and it is summer. Please ignore this reasoning, if you know it is wrong, and post the true one. Anyway, does someone know whether there is another site storing ff211-fflast, a site which I don't have in my list??
