Hello all net-folk. I run an 80386 machine side - by side with my Amiga every day (gotta make a living!) , and some things have been cropping up Graphic wise... 1) I got something called "SHAM" from a local BBS - it uses the Copper to change pallets every scan line, the resulting HAM image shows much less "rainbow". Currently , it ony handles 320x200 and the pallet conversion routine from .GIF really needs help -- is there more info/documentation on it? And possible some source code around? 2) HAMGIF is the .GIF viewer I use most on AMY, but there are *some* types of pictures that look pretty bad. Some very *GOOD* 320x200x256 GIF's I have look PHOTOGRAPHIC on the VGA card, but on the Amiga , it looks like the pallet is 16 colors (similar shades groupes as one color ect.) Is there a GOOD 256 color viewer out there? Could some kind soul uuencode their favorite GIF view and email it to me? 3) Related to this, as my .GIFS float back and forth now on 9600 baud erminal lines, is there a SYS V DNET port available yet? **************************************************************************** * " Salad isn't food, salad is what food eats.
