OK, it is a bit soon to get started on this, but what the heck.
It would be nice for someone to host or find a place to have a little
USENET get-together. I know I would enjoy the opportunity to put some
faces to the names I see here 'on the net' regularly.
Ami-EXPO is scheduled for Oct. 20-22 in Santa Clara California. Santa
Clara is located just outside San Jose which has major airline service.
I intend to fly out Friday afternoon (the 20th) hoping to find some
Amiga types to party with that evening. I seem to remember promising a
couple of PD authors whose work I use often some free beers (or such).
I will also be there Saturday night so either is OK for me.
It also might be nice for someone from the area to suggest some hotels
for those who might be coming from far away. Transportation clues for
out-of-towners might be helpful as well.
Anyway, I would enjoy such an event and believe others would too.
