Not at all.  It is basically a ficticious company, on a few mailing
lists, otherwise just identifying a group of friends, and one of them
in particular, who receives such mail.  Pi-Rho America isn't even
remotely related to Amiga software development or marketing even as a
theoretical company.  The Pi-Rho part is a joke on fraternities, and
yes, it was derived from "pyro".

What it comes down to is that "Pi-Rho America" has NO significance to
anyone except people around here who know the group or are in it.  (So
why am I bothering to explain this to the world?  Well, you asked.)
So stop worrying and ranting about it, people.
