Some people have been mentioning the program HIJACK (by Inset Systems ?)
that can do a great many graphic interchanges. I am trying to convert some
digitized IFF files from the Amiga world into a format that either
Micrographx's DESIGNER or Pagemaker can utilize as a bitmapped image. So far I
can get them into GIF with no problem, and transferring them to the PC domain
is easy with my bridgecard, but from there I am stuck. This HIJACK program
sounds like it will do what I need (TIF, GFX, PIC, etc). So, here's the
problem. Up here in Canada (Vancouver) nobody has ever heard of it, and none of
the software distributors carry it. Of course, the posted 800 number isn't
accessable from Canada either! My question, therefore, is
What is the full address and phone number (not 800 number) of the company
that makes HIJACK? Also, If any other utilities can be recommended for this
application, please feel free to make the suggestion. So far HIJACK is the only
one I've heard of!

Inset Systems 71 Commerce Drive Brookfield CT 06804 also 203-775-5866. Also to answer an earlier followup question, I suppose one would use one of many paint programs on the mac to go from macpaint to whatever pictn format one wanted. Hey, I never said it would be easy. Maybe it won't even work. But you wanted an existing program or set thereof. Maybe if enough amiga owners buy Hijaak and grumble about lack of breadth in mac formats, they will upgrade the program. art walker roadman@portia.stanford.edu
