I'm interested in finding Amiga software that displays the digitized faces from the Usenix Facesaver program. Any information will be appreciated. uunet!modcomp!dan

I wrote a program this spring that takes the old Facesaver pictures and turns them into 4-bit grayscale ILBM files. From this you can use most anything IFF show program to display them. If anyone is interested it should be a quick hack to get it to work with the newer format (and the older ones too) used for B'more this past June. I guess I could have written an 8-bit ILBM file (to preserve the original data) but very few if any show programs could handle it. Right now I'm just chopping off the lower four bits.
