Well, as it turns out, my Amiga 1000, Hurricane Accelerator, and Comspec memory expansion are not mutually compatible. I can plug in eithr the accelerator or the memory, but not both. (Thanks to those who suggested grounding and upgrading the PALs and building a bus terminator. I've done all three, and it doesn't completely fix the problems.) Therefore I'd like to try to sell or trade the pieces. I have (approximate price) I want ----------------------------- ----------------------------------- Amiga 1000, 512K, 1 drive, A fast (> 200K/sec) hard drive no halfbrite, new PALs ($500) Ronin 32-bit memory for Hurricane 1000 Ronin Hurricane 1000 with 20 MHz 68020 and 68881 ($700) Any 2-meg expansion that works well with the Hurricane Comspec 2 Meg Memory autoconfig, with pass-thru ($450) Cold hard cash A500 with ECS or late-vintage A1000 A2000 with ECS Amiga hardware/software, stereo and music equipment, Van Gogh originals, etc. So for instance I'd like to trade the Comspec for a 32-bit memory board (I'd throw in some extra cash for that trade) or a different brand of 16-bit memory (I'd have to test it first); or trade the Ronin board for a hard drive, or the 1000 and Ronin for a 2000, or some such.
