[comp.sys.amiga] Commodore's Retail Deal

jms@tardis.Tymnet.COM (Joe Smith) (09/09/89)

The following is quoted from the San Jose Mercury News, 7-Sep-89.

Commodore Business Machines Inc of West Chester, Pa., said Wednesday
that it had signed an agreement with Connecting Point of America, a
326-outlet retail chain, to sell Commodore's Amiga and IBM-compatible
computer lines. The agreement will substantially increase Commodore's
limited distribution, which has contributed to the company's poor
domestic performance.
