Just about 5 weeks ago, I ordered a MicroBotics 8-UP! DIP memory board for my 2000HD, placed on the same order as a MicroBotics memory module (?) for the 1000. Two weeks after ordering, the store I was dealing with called MicroBotics, and asked what was wrong. MB's reply was that they don't ship the 2000 and the 1000 boards on the same week, and they'd have to wait until they were shipping 1000 boards, because they refuse to break up orders. One more week later, the store called again, and the reply they got THAT time was that the boards weren't ready. Last Monday, I called MB in Texas (from MAssachusetts), and was told by a rather rude operator at MB that the boards were out of stock. The store I was dealing with asked them if the boards were in 5 weeks ago when the order was placed, and the reply was "yes." I was told by the operator that this was out of their hands, and I shouldn't have called them, and I must deal with the store I was dealing with (an Amiga repair shop). Now, I ordered this memory board for a project that was due a week ago, and I've lost valuable time and the project. What I want to know is - has anyone else out there has had this problem with them (MicroBotics)? -- | John A.
