[comp.sys.amiga] Can I Use A2000 keyboard on a A1000?

I have an A1000 keyboard on order from my local dealer as I mentioned in a
previous posting.  Someone has sent me email where they say they use an A2000
keyboard on their A1000 after hacking the cable.  This sounds like a good idea
to me, has anyone else done this?  What changes do I make to the cable?
