I have been reading some good things about DBWRender and QRT in comp.graphics. I have played around with QRT (and old version, ~2 years old), but not DBW. Several Questions: 1) Are DBWRender and QRT on the Fish Disks? If so, which ones? If not, where can I get them? 2) Do these programs come with source (well documented?) and documentation files? 3) Has anyone written an object converter (similar to Syndesis' Interchange) for DBW/QRT to TS/SA3D format or the reverse? 4) How difficult would 3) be? Are the object definitions too different? 5) Can someone email me a detailed description of DBWRender and QRT (latest versions) and how they compare in features, ease of use, learning curve, resolutions, etc., with Turbo Silver SV and Sculpt-Animate 3/4D? 6) Does either DBW or QRT support animation? Do they save in IFF format, so that ANIMS could be made with their images? Thanks, Scott Sutherland sutherla@qtp.ufl.edu
