OK, so now it seems that not only does the hardframe not work with the
6.x motherboards, but also the quantum drives seem to have developed problems.
There goes both parts of my intended HD setup. Should I just go with a 2000HD?
How much slower will that run?
I'm kind of disappointed about all the problems that are creeping up just
as I finally have the money to buy an amiga & HD. I'm definately buying a 2000,controller, and at least 40 meg HD at WOC saturday, but I doubt all the
motherboard/hardframe/quantum problems will be cleared up by then, so I'll have
to go with something slower (somebody PLEASE convince me I'm wrong!)
