I'd like to receive any comments about TxEd Plus, as I've been thinking of purchasing it (and thus replacing dme). Mostly, I'd like to hear about its ARexx-port and configurability. How good are they? Can one issue ARexx-commands to TxEd at any time (from a separate Rexx-program possibly)? Can one remap any key? etc. BTW, how compact is it? I have heard good things about CED Pro, but I don't want my editor to eat 200k of memory. Any other comments are wel- come, too. Thanks in advance, Kari Sutela sutela@tucos.cs.utu.fi OR lk-kari@mammutti.utu.fi

I've used TxED Plus, I like it. It's small (24K + ~15K for arp.library if you don't normally use arp.library) and it's REXX implementation is nice. It doesn't have 8 zillion commands to get in your way so you are pretty comfortable using it quickly. And the use of REXX as a macro language makes it very configurable. --Chuck McManis uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: cmcmanis ARPAnet: cmcmanis@sun.com These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
