To repeat, my A1000 with the above components and NO pal grounding was functioning perfectly for 6 months with the above combination of components... 3 weeks ago, there was a failure on the system, and now the A1000 will only boot with the Comspec controller present on the bus. The micron cage is independently powered, and that power supply is providing nominal voltages. The card that installs in the cage functions perfectly in an A2000. I NEED SUGGESTIONS TO GET THIS THING WORKING !!!!! I grounded the PALs... no luck... the only thing I haven't tried is the bus terminator... is there anyone that SELLS the silly things???
