On occasion I experience the following problem: 1)normal Workbench is interlace with morerow'd -row 0 -column 25 2)open PCWindow in colour (<- non U.S. speeling! ;-)) mode (Sidecar) 3)open any other Amiga program in interlace/hi-res mode (ie: JRComm, terminal program) When done specifically in the above order, (doesn't matter what program is run in 3), same happens with the Works!Platinum etc when opened in interlace/hi-res!) the PCWindow gets trashed. That is the `graphics/text' in PCWindow's "window/screen" are all `garbled' with no consistent type of result, BUT, when `selected/activated' whatever program is/was running at the time responds to keyboard input (evidenced by hard drive access or even modem access when running the likes of Telix v3.11!). There is a `patch' type file in circulation called WTFPatch3, written by David Jenkins which patches something in Intuition having to do with some anomaly in the WindowToFront/WindowToBack routine and some conflict with selecting/deselecting gadgets/icons on the WB with the mouse at the same instant. (WTFPatch3 is either available by itself or together with CLOCKDJ, also by D. Jenkins, on Compuserve, I u/l'd it there myself!). Question is this: Are the guys and gals at CATS aware of such a problem and is there a fix and does WB 1.3.2 address same and will 1.4 fix Intuition (it is in ROM/KickStart, isn't it?)? Ok, ok, so it is a multi-part question!! ;-) VIC --- * Via ProDoor 3.1aR
