[comp.sys.amiga] missing executables on fish disks

MSW@mplvax.sri.com (Mark S. Williams) (09/23/89)

A note to whom it may concern at uihub: ff232 BallyIII.zoo and ff235
MirrorWars.zoo do not contain their executables.

For all others who have neglected to read the README file that I put on
UIHUB last week, there was a problem in packing the batch of Fish disks
229-236 where an older version of Zoo was accidently in the search path
on one of the machines. As the disks are re-uploaded, verification of
their contents is being placed in the subdirectory 'verify' and an extra
copy of each missing executable is placed in the 'executables' subdirectory
for your convenience.

I am posting this to stave off more senseless postings like the one above.
I appreciate being told of problems - by posting or email - but I think
there has already been enough traffic here for it to be clear to whom email
should be sent. Whether I am correct at this or otherwise, I will place
adjusted copies of UXE's documentation files on UIHUB. They give backround
surrounding the archives, help with their usage, and the names and email
addresses of people involved in their maintenance. Followups to email,
please.
