Hello... I am looking for some basic info on an Amiga starter system. I do not personally know much about amiga's, so any and all info is of use. The particulars: I would like to set up the system for a high school junior that prefers the amiga for its graphics and sound capabilities. We only have about $1,000 to spend, and would like to get the best system for the $$$. I have foudn so far that an Amiga 500 is the place to start. So.. does one find this box with a color (RGB) monitor, or just BW? How about memory... i hear that hey come with 512K and can go to 1 Mb. Disk... they have 1 internal...but is it worth running with an external, or spending some $$$ on a hard disk. Speaking of that.. what is available for HD's? How about printers.. what works well and is cheap. We aren't necessarily looking for a new system... so if you have an amiga 500 that isn't doing anything.. let me know, perhaps we can work out a deal. Thanks for the info...
