Note: the newsgroup was changed (hopefully) since this is not really a technical subject. There is a WIDTH command (or something like that--its been a while since I used BASIC) that sets the column AmigaBasic will line wrap at. If it is set to 0, it means no wrap (or wrap at infinity). The only way I got rid of it was to power down my computer. This bug would survive a warm reboot. Once I did that it came up with no problems and I haven't had any problems since. Sorry, but I don't know what causes this or what fixes it. I tried to get E-Mail to the original poster but it bounced. I was the original poster - I just quoted a Bitnet article from someone who was a bit of a help. I did power down my system, but no luck. Today, the problem is gone! Powerdown didn't help; reboot didn't help; what did help was to make another copy of AmigaBASUX from the master disk. THAT fixed it.
