Remember the FIX68010 program that was posted in cmp.sys.{sources and/or binaries} a little while back? I was playing with it and it appears that it just goes through the file in question looking for the offending instruction and replacing it with a legal substitute. It seems to me that this could often result in replacing some things that were data, or part of other instructions, or whatever. Does anyone know if this thing is at all intelligent (like only searching in code hunks for example)? I can see a lot of munged programs resulting from this thing... -- James A.
