I am planning on attending my first "blush" AMIExpo in Santa Clara on the 19th
of October and I was wondering if there are get togethers (informal or
otherwise) with other reps of Users Groups. I am the President of PaNorAmA
(Pacific North West Amiga Association) and I am interested in meeting up with
some other users group execs to talk about getting Guest Speakers (we had Jay
Miner this month and it was an excellent evening) newsletter exchanges, etc.

AmiEXPO donated the use of the conference hall to BADGE (Bay Area Amiga Developers Group) for the purposes of BADGE Killer Demo Contest 2. The contest will be held Friday night, Oct 20th, at 7pm. Admission is free and open to the public; all BADGE and Amiga User Group members are invited! That might be a good place to meet user group members, perhaps... You of course also get to vote on the demos. Everyone interested in entering --- Send in your demos! You have about two weeks to finish them up and get them in the mail... We've got more prizes in, by the way; a full list of prizes and guidelines will be reposted in a few days. Ali
