Hello, Please add 8412::Norman to the relay mechanism for amiga news. I will eventually have TCP/IP running on my VAX and AMIGA. Is there a better way to view the mail than the relay system??? As you can probably tell from the incoming address, my DECNET node AFAS,8.220, can be reached via the gateway node FEDEX at NASA/MSFC. For more info I can be reached at (205)544-1577. I have an AMIGA 2500HD system with lots of VIDEO gear for analizing & publishing flow visualization pictures. The only thing I'm currently puzzled by, is why Commodore copies ALL of workbench into the Boot partition. The manual hits all around the issue but doesn't explain anything, and the ABACUS book "AMIGADOS Inside and Out" is even worse when it comes to explaining things. I'd like a simple 3 page explaination of how the AUTO boot process functions/flows with some discussions on what can be deleted/changed in the startup sequences,the boot partition, and workbench partition ... and WHY!!!. Abacus has a good outline, but no meat. Thanks, Richard
