I'd like to buy a HST 9600 bd modem. However, I've heard quite a lot like "It's great" or "It's bullshit". Now, how is the thing? Is it worth buying? We have several here and I have no great confidence in the modem. I have purchased 6 and 4 of them had to be sent back for repair. They maybe ok for home use but, not for commercial use. Chuck Pooley

We have several of them here, a mixture of the HST 1440's and the HST DUAL's and so far we haven't had any problems with them. Except for the new replacement ROM's for the 2400 bps xfer problems since some of the newer 1440's. -Mike
