I recently wrote to CinemaWare concerning their updating of TV Sports football for the new NFL season, now already underway. This was the response I got from CinemaWare: "We have not come out with a new disk to revise the season. I have heard there is a public domain program available which allows you to edit the team and season, but I don't know where it is avaliable to how to use it." Okay, so if there IS a public domain program to update the CinemaWare TV Sports Football disk, I haven't seen it. Has anyone seen this program that CinemaWare talks about? I can't find it on either Fred Fish disks or Amicus disks. -Brandon "Bills are #1" Brooks

Come ON! You expected support from EnemaWare? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
The world would be a far, far better place if they just ceased to exists.
I wrote them a polite letter last year concerning some of the (many) flaws
in TVS:F. I got a reply laced with phrases such as:
"If you knew anything at all about programming..."
"We have to reboot after every game because the Amiga OS is so bad..."
[note: perhaps they should speak to Bethesda, or even (ugh) EA, who apparently
don't have this problem]
"We see nothing wrong with our copy protection scheme or our disk replacement
policy..."
[you MUST boot off the MASTER disk. THey charge $10 for a replacement disk.
We all know that floppies don't cost $10]
EnemaWare is one of the examplars of the phrase "Caveat emptor!"
Think again before you buy something from them.
