[comp.sys.amiga] Reading MS-DOS Disks

terry@helios (Terry Ricketts) (10/04/89)

There is an older program called 'Dos to Dos' that will read and
write ms-dos disk on an amiga. It is made by Central Point Software.
A newer and better program is CrossDos. A demo that reads only is
available PD on various BBS boards. The complete program is available for
about $30.

<Why do some people still put line eaters>

Hi,
I was wondering, is there any PD package for the amiga that would
let the standard amiga 3.5 drive read MS-DOS disks?

As pointed out earlier, the freely distributed CrossDOS demo will read
MSDOS disks on your Amiga 3 1/2" drives (or 5 1/4" or HD), but only read.
The demo can be had on CI$ or PLINK. If you want the save feature, you
can get CrossDOS from Abel Supply for $17.95. Not to bad for a complete
DOS you can transparently lay on top of AmigaDOS.
