I am having trouble with my Handshake terminal program. Every once in a while the screen will lock up and not allow anything to be typed or the mouse to be moved. I have to reboot my machine to be able to continue doing things where I have connected to. I have version 1.60b, does anyone know if there is a newer version that might not lock up? Also, I am using Handshake to log onto a Unix system in vt100 mode. Does anyone know of a different terminal program that supports the vt100 mode as well as Handshake. I have tried jrcomm, Access, and Amic with not perfect success. Any help would be appreciated. -Scott

There has been an update to the Handshake terminal program. It is version number 2.12a and it is on Fred Fish disk number 172. It adds support for VT102 and VT220, as well as adding ARP requestors, a color mode, and smooth scrolling. It is very good, in fact I am using right now. > Also, I am using Handshake to log onto a Unix system in vt100 mode. Another good terminal program that I have seen is called VLT, it is better than Handshake in some ways for it includes ARexx and Custom Macro Script support. It emulates a VT100 and also a Textronix (sp?) 40 something. The most current version is on disk 226. > Any help would be appreciated. Hope this helps... And now for the uninteresting, unoriginal, unfinished .signature! ================================================================================ Bryan O'Connor | ARPA - bdo8650@cec2.wustl.edu | Washington University ================================================================================
