[comp.sys.amiga] Expansion RAM info needed

barry@dory.cis.ohio-state.edu (barry stellrecht) (09/21/89)

I need ram for a friend, and have some questions....

What is needed is the following:
1 or 2 Meg of Ram
Works on an A1000 [expansion chassis optional]
Is as cheap as possible :-)
	Fully auto-config

Also wanted are:
	Run on an A2000/3000/etc.

Product names are what I'm really interested in, but if you can mention a nice
dealer in Ohio, or recommend a mail-order place, that would be nice also, as in
Columbus I haven't seen any dealers I like very much.

I haven't been keeping up with the market that much of late, and am not sure
exactly what is available. [BTW, I'm still several hundred messages behind, so
_please_ reply through mail instead of posting. If anybody is interested, I
will post a summary, or mail one]

WHAT?????!!!!!!

"Lovely answering machine" is sexist? I usually consider myself pretty
aware of women's issues, but this one really slipped by me. Could you
explain to us unenlightened ones what is so sexist about calling an
answering machine "lovely"? Is is perhaps that you think "lovely" is a
term that can only be applied to women, and thus using it to describe an
inanimate object somehow objectifies women? That's really stretching it.
If *that* is sexist, then what about

> #################### Life's a bitch. Then you die. #################

After all "bitch" is also a term commonly only used towards women, and I
think more would be offended by that than "lovely."

The unenlightened sexist awaiting your wisdom,
